You Can Make Money Blogging

Who would've thought you could make money by writing about something you enjoy and know about. As you should be able to figure it out, blogging doesn't require a lot of energy when you have gotten a good start and are up and running. When you first start your blogging there are a number of activities that need to occur along with your writing and since you enjoy writing that is not the biggest task at hand.

Not being real internet savvy you wonder how you will make money with your blogging. Well let me tell you a little story, you need be able to tell your little story. Being able to tell your little story in an entertaining way so people who read it will in turn tell someone how much they enjoyed your little story and how entertaining you with this continuing on and on with everyone telling someone how much they liked your little story (blog).

Popularity and subject content is the most riveting way to have a popular blog, but there are those who will blog about where they work. It may be in a satirical way because they enjoy their work so much or it may have a serious tone and teach some interesting stuff like the 909 different ways to make a simple electronic audio mixer. You may think that was somewhat on the blah side but I once did something like that. What I did was write a weekly blog in how to build, step-by-step, a simple electronic audio mixer. This went almost a year and I developed quite a "cult" following. I now do a variety of step by step project blogs with the following growing steadily, with my adsense revenue being very nice.

Adsense revenue, what in the world is adsense? Adsense is Google's ad serving application which allows website owners to have a clickable ad from Google that carries the same theme as your blog. My adsense ads were for DIY (Do It Yourself) advertisements, electronic components following my blogging theme. At times I would change up the flavor a bit adding another element which allowed me to change up my adsense some which translated to an increase in revenue. Never got crazy, just enough change to keep it interesting providing a variety.

When your blog grows in popularity, you will be approached by affiliate marketers to advertise or provide an affiliate link for their product. Works really well and you really earn pretty handsome chunk of change through affiliate marketing.
